Iran claims it foiled drone strike on military compound

Israel National News reports: “Tehran announced Wednesday morning that it shot down a drone aircraft Tuesday night, foiling an attempted strike on one of Iran’s military compounds.

According to a statement by the Iranian defense ministry, the drone strike targeted the defense ministry’s Amir-al-Mo’menin compound in the city of Isfahan Tuesday night.

Iran’s Tasnim media outlet reported that the attack was ‘repelled after the Iranian defense systems took action.’
