Roe Ruling Sparks Huge Celebrations – and Dire Warnings

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade today in an historic 6-3 decision that puts abortion laws back in the hands of individual states. The decision has sparked a flurry of reactions, from celebratory pro-lifers ecstatic about the ruling, to despondent pro-abortion advocates who claim this is one of the “darkest days” in American history. CBN’s Billy Hallowell and Dan Andros go through some of the reactions.

The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned its 1973 landmark Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide for nearly 50 years.

Friday’s outcome is expected to lead to abortion bans in roughly half the states.

The decision, unthinkable just a few years ago, was the culmination of decades of efforts by pro-life advocates.
