Trump Trial Date Set, Idalia Heads Towards Florida, and Heavy Flooding in West Virginia #shorts

Hurricane Idalia is expected to cause life-threatening storm surges as it heads for the Florida Gulf Coast. The storm pounded parts of Cuba Sunday, and Florida authorities are urging residents to evacuate before the predicted landfall on Wednesday.

A trial date has been set for Former President Trump’s alleged 2020 election crimes. U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan set the date for March 4, 2024. Trump’s attorneys are protesting the date.

And Thunderstorms dumped heavy rains that caused significant flooding in parts of West Virginia on Monday. Gov. Jim Justice issued a state of emergency in at least five counties, enabling the National Guard to activate swift-water rescue teams and use helicopters in areas hit by floodwaters.
