The Millstone of Child Abuse :: By Dave Hubley

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

This very brief article addresses a particularly horrific example of the level of depravity that humans can/have already sunk to.

I don’t believe it is arguable that there is a demented, insane, vile, and maniacal movement in the world to abuse and defile children.

This includes promoting of biologically impossible “transgender” affirming activities described as healthcare.

And it includes the trafficking even of the children themselves.

At least when animals eat their own young, it is because they have no soul.

Humans mistreat them because they have surrendered their soul.

Human trafficking is depraved no matter where it occurs or what form it takes. It is now quite prevalent right here in America.

When it’s conducted against adults, it is horrible enough, but it is especially vile when children are targeted.

This depravity is growing in scope and intensity.

It has become a revenue stream for some, and/or it is for occult purposes, or it is just plain depraved behavior.

However it may be defined, it is worship of Molech, the ancient god of child sacrifice.

Jesus addressed this debauched activity directly and enumerated the cost to those who engage in it:

But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!” (Matthew 18:5-7) – Berean Standard Bible. Emphasis added by me.

Lest the implications of the warning given by Jesus Christ Himself be understated, there are a couple of points that need to be made.

The above verse uses different language in place of “stumble” in some translations:

  • “fall into sin” – New Living Translation
  • “But whoso shall offend” – King James

It matters little which translation is used, the message to the reader is clear. Children are precious to the Lord, and severe consequences will befall those who abuse them.

“Woe” is never good news to those who are the object of its consequences.

There are many who claim to be “Christians” in the world today; however, I don’t believe they can actually “BE” Christians and support or commit acts involving the abuse or aborting of human beings.

I would remind those who support or commit these acts that the Name of Christ is the root source of “Christian.”

“Christian” does not exist without “Christ.”

As far as abortion is concerned, the fluffy, modern-day deflecting terminology is: “reproductive rights.”

In the case of pushing the mutilation of youngsters by convincing them it is possible to “change genders,” it is pure evil and deception.

The Lord is not deceived; neither is that possible.

Humans, however, are easily able to deceive themselves.

It is now occurring every day and on a massive scale.

Of course, each person is entitled to their own opinions and choices based on those opinions, as God has given each human free will.

As in every case, decisions have consequences, and Jesus made them clear.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

God, the God that you claim to believe in, if indeed you do make that claim, has made it clear how He views certain behaviors.

If you claim not to believe in God, well, there will be no acceptable excuses, and He is still God. Deny Him at your own peril.

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Psalm 14:1).

“There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him. Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that run swiftly to evil, a false witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up discord among brothers” (Proverbs 6:16-19). Emphasis added by me.

hands that shed innocent blood.” Is there any way to interpret this statement other than as a clear condemnation of the murder of unborn – or in today’s world – recently born human offspring?

For the sake of discussion, let’s call the unborn a “fetus.”

In the case of a developing human, it is Greek for “little child” and not a “blob” of faceless or meaningless cells.

It will not be an aardvark, a giraffe, or a penguin; it will become a human child if allowed to.

“A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth, winking his eyes, speaking with his feet, and pointing with his fingers. With deceit in his heart he devises evil; he continually sows discord. Therefore, calamity will come upon him suddenly; in an instant he will be shattered beyond recovery(Proverbs 6:12-15). Emphasis added by me.

Perhaps it may be timely to consider the warnings contained in the Word of God for the benefit of all who will listen to Him:

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

I believe the world is presently reaping the consequences of willful sin and rebellion, and it is going to get much, much, worse.

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
