#DeSantis Signs #Abortion Act, #Arrest Made in #Intelligence Breach, and #Florida #Flooding #shorts

A 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard has been arrested at his home in connection with the most damaging U.S. intelligence breach in more than 10 years. It is believed he shared highly classified information with a video chat group.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed Florida’s Heartbeat Protection Act Thursday. The measure bans abortions after 6 weeks, rather than at 15 weeks under the current law. It includes exceptions for rape, incest, the life of the mother, and human trafficking pregnancies.

And torrential rains pounded South Florida with a staggering 25 inches of precipitation. Ft. Lauderdale is under a state of emergency after the rains closed the city’s airport.
