Tensions with Lebanon Increase, Biden Cancels Colorado Trip, and Speaker Vote on Tuesday #shorts

Tensions on Israel’s border with Lebanon increased Sunday as Hezbollah and the IDF traded fire. This coming as Iran reportedly ordered Hezbollah to fight in response to Israel’s war with Hamas. Many in Israel are concerned about the possibility of a two-front war.

President Joe Biden has postponed a trip to Colorado to stay in Washington and focus on the growing conflict in the Middle East. Biden is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with aides on Israel.

And House GOP Leadership plans to hold a vote on Tuesday for Speaker of the House. Last week, House Republicans nominated Jim Jordan as speaker, however, Jordan faces an uphill battle to with the speakership.
