Landmark SCOTUS Decision, Hurricane Beryl, and North Korean Missile Launch #shorts

In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court ruled yesterday that Presidents maintain prosecutorial immunity for acts ordered in an official capacity, but not for unofficial acts. Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, praised the decision, while many democrats denounced the ruling as “disgraceful.”

The first Hurricane of the season, Hurricane Beryl in the southeastern Caribbean, grew to a category 5 storm late Monday. Beryl was the first category 4 storm on record to form in June. It’s projected to make landfall in Jamaica on Wednesday.

And North Korea says it has test-fired a new ballistic missile capable of carrying a huge warhead. However, South Korean officials believe the North’s claim was fabricated to conceal a botched missile launch.
