Pressure Grows on Russia as Images of Atrocities Play Out: ‘Major War Crimes’

Atrocities in Ukraine are turning up the international pressure on Moscow. The United Nations will vote Thursday on whether to remove Russia from its Human Rights Council.

As Russian troops have left the outskirts of Kyiv for an escalating offensive in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian authorities say the bodies of least 410 civilians have now been discovered in towns around the capital.
