Hendricks County built a new jail facility that resolves previous infrastructure issues with the original, outdated linear jail that were difficult to manage. The new space occupies 168,000 square feet in a building that houses 599 beds. Hendricks County Jail’s new facility was complete in October 2022, with administrative staff moving in initially. Full-service jail operations began in February 2023. This gleaming new facility is only missing one thing, the “dusty, old and archaic” King James Bible that’s sharper than any “two-edged sword” and more up to date than tomorrow’s headlines.

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prisonand them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 42:7 (KJB)

We got an email earlier today from Chaplain Jeremy in Danville, Indiana. He is a local pastor on staff at his church, as well as a chaplain at the Hendricks County Jail. He told me that he is trying to find a supplier for KJV Bibles to distribute to the inmates, in this case about 599 of them. Well, he’s come to the right place and I think supplying the Hendricks Detention Center with King James Bibles is a win-win for all parties concerned. The inmates receive the Bibles free of charge, and we get to put a few more souls in seats on Flight #777. Amen!

CT Studd said “Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop, within a yard of hell.” He was a man born in to wealth and privilege, who gave it all up to be in full-time ministry on the mission field. Bibles Behind Bars is a ministry that is able to put King James Bibles into the jails and detention centers, as well as into the deepest, darkest recesses of death row. Please pray that the Lord will continue to give us this incredible open door to send out Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts. And if He has prospered you, please visit our site and click on the donate button to help us. Thank you so much…TO THE FIGHT!!!

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORTTO THE FIGHT!!!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJB)
