Harris Accepts Nomination, RFK Jr. Drops Out in Arizona, and Massive Diamond Found #shorts
Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for President Thursday night. In her acceptance speech, Harris called for tax cuts for the middle class, abortion protections, and support for Israel while also attacking former President Trump and his policies.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. withdrew from the ballot in Arizona a day before he and Donald Trump were set to appear miles apart in the Phoenix area. Kennedy’s withdrawal late Thursday comes as speculation grows that Kennedy could drop his independent presidential bid and endorse Trump.
And the largest diamond found in more than a century has been unearthed at a mine in Botswana. The Botswana government says the huge 2,492-carat diamond is the second-biggest ever discovered in a mine. It’s the biggest diamond found since 1905.
