Obama Speaks at DNC, Hezbollah Attack in Golan Heights, and Ukraine Damages Russian Bridges #shorts
Former President Barack Obama highlighted the second night of the Democrat National Convention in Chicago Tuesday. He called on the party to unite behind Kamala Harris as the nominee and said “mutual respect” should be central to the Democrats’ message.
Hezbollah launched more than 50 projectiles into the Golan Heights and other border areas today after Israel struck strategic sites and military installations in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. First responders in the Golan Heights said they treated a 30-year-old man with shrapnel injuries in Wednesday’s attack.
And Ukrainian forces have either destroyed or damaged all three of the bridges over the Seym River in western Russia, according to Russian sources. Ukraine’s attacks on the bridges could potentially trap Russian forces between the river, the Ukrainian advance and the Ukrainian border.
