This is a compilation of four short articles covering the topics of praise, salvation, encouragement, and thankfulness. It’s my prayer that at least one or more of these articles will be a blessing to you.

JESUS IS MY SUPERHERO

The world today is filled with phony, make-believe superheroes. However, compared to Jesus Christ, they are just a bunch of zeroes. Jesus is my one and only superhero and the only one I need. In sports lingo terms, Jesus is my #1 pick and my #1 overall seed.

Jesus Christ is my Godly superhero, both now and for all time. He is the Alpha and Omega, and Jesus is the awesome and great ‘I AM.’ Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords for both the great and small. All creation reflects His glory and powers; yes, Jesus has done it all.

Phony superheroes have no powers at all; they are merely fictitious. But Jesus died on our behalf and defeated death by rising again for us. He saved us from our sins, granting eternal life to all who believe in Him. Can any other so-called superheroes do that? Not a prayer! Amen.

Superheroes come and go, but Jesus will always remain the same.
Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, His is the name above all names.
Jesus is our Messiah and Redeemer, the Son of God and the Son of Man.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus does what nobody else can.

WHEN IT COMES TO SALVATION

When it comes to salvation,
it does not matter what other people think,
only what God says to us—in the Bible.

When it comes to salvation,
it does not matter what other people do,
only what Jesus did for us—on the Cross.

When it comes to salvation,
confess to God that you are a sinner
saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ—our Savior.

When it comes to salvation,
simply believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
then accept His free gift of eternal life—in Heaven.

ENCOURAGING WORDS FROM SCRIPTURE

“Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you; surely, I will help you
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

“Even to your old age, I shall be the same,
and even to your graying years, I shall bear you.
I have done it, and I shall carry you;
and I shall bear you, and I shall deliver you” (Isaiah 46:4).

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

I AM GLAD ETERNITY IS FOREVER

At the speed life goes by these days,
I am glad eternity is forever.
Anything less would simply be too short.

“How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? What is your life?
You are a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes” (James 4:14).

“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down,
(That is, when we die and leave this earthly body)
We will have an eternal house in heaven made for us by God” (2 Corinthians 5:1).

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son [Jesus Christ]
That everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

“Surely, goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever” (Psalm 23:6).
