Have you ever paid too much for something? I know I have. Too much for a car, house, product, food, or a vacation? The easiest thing to do is to pay too much for something. I’m telling you right now, you do not want to pay the cost of dying in your sins without Christ and spending forever and ever in the lake of fire. THE COST IS TO0 HIGH OF A PRICE FOR YOU TO PAY.

Can you imagine someone going to your car dealership and paying for your car, and yet every month, you pay the car payment even though it is paid off in full. Someone goes to your mortgage company, and they pay off your house in full. Yet every month, you pay the house payment. Jesus has paid the sin debt that you owe to God Almighty IN FULL with his precious blood, but you have rejected his payment every day. So even though your sin is paid in full, you have decided in your heart to take a chance that you don’t have to pay for this sin debt of yours.

I have to ask you the big question: WHY, WHY, WHY? Any person in their right mind knows in their heart that someone has paid for your house or car, so if that happens, the last thing you would do is give more money to the mortgage company or car dealership. This is so sad to think that billions of souls will be in the lake of fire forever and ever and beyond, but Jesus had paid for their sins IN FULL. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS RECEIVE THE FREE GIFT OF SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

The answer to the big question WHY is pride, the love of sin, love of this world, the love of themself, they hate anything good or righteous, they hate Jesus. This could be a long list, but I will stop.

Luke 14:28 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

I preached a message on this verse asking the question of a Christian sitting down and counting the cost of being a Christian. Salvation is free, but if you are going to go all out for Jesus, it will cost you everything – maybe even your life. Jesus is worth us going all out for him. But in this article, I ask the lost person, have you set down and counted the cost of you dying in your sins and going to hell? You have not because you are too busy having fun in this life. The evil side wants to keep you too busy.

Luke 16:22 “And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”

The rich man did not consider in his heart how much he would have to pay for his sins. The rich man today is still paying the price for his sins. By the way, he is no longer rich. Have you ever lost something? I have, and it is not fun. The rich man lost everything when his heart stopped beating and his lungs stopped breathing. He went from somebody with money to a nobody with no money in a moment when he died. What a loss this will be to those who die in their sins. You will never be able to pay your sin debt IN FULL; that is why it is forever. 100 TRILLION YEARS FROM NOW, YOU WILL STILL BE PAYING FOR YOUR SIN DEBT.

Doesn’t this seem so foolish for you to pay for something that has already been paid? We will take a look at 9 things that the lost person will have to pay if they die in their sins.

  1. They will never experience the forgiven love of the Father in Heaven (the Devil is their father).

Those who die in their sins will live with their father (the Devil) forever. Those of us Christians who have been bought with the blood of Jesus will spend forever with our Father. Forgiven feels so good to the Christian. Even if someone on earth forgives you, it is so good. But what makes the difference here is that the Father in Heaven forgives you FOREVER ( WOW). To the lost, He will never be your Abba, which means father or daddy. That is too high of a price to pay.

So many sons and daughters never experience a loving father here on earth, but in the next life to come, they will never feel the love of our Father. They will never know what it is like to have a loving father. They will never know what it is like for their sin debt to be paid IN FULL. If you are debt-free, you know how that feels, and it is a good feeling. This is a drop in the bucket when it comes to the sin debt.

  1. They will never experience the saving power of Christ (the Son of God).

When Jesus saved me at 10 years old, I was truly forgiven. Because he is God, he is able to forget my sins. WOW. The lost will not know true victory in Christ. They will live their whole life in defeat, and after they die, all they will know is defeat. No matter what they do or think or say, it will never change for them. They will always be known as a loser. This is so sad. What makes this sad is they don’t have to go through any of this.

I will have to finish this in the next article.
